Fixed Fee Divorce

We offer a fixed price for the work that we do in divorce cases - whether you are divorcing someone or someone is divorcing you. It’s more cost-effective for you than if we were to charge by the hour. And it’s not at the expense of great service – we’ll still provide all the professional and emotional support you’ll need, just as we always do.

What is included in the Fixed Fee Divorce?

All steps from initial instructions through to Final Order at the end of the divorce process. It’s everything you’ll need.

We encourage our clients to attend our ‘Divorce Through The Eyes Of A Child’ workshops. These are run at our offices every month and are an excellent opportunity for parents who are separating to understand what divorce feels and looks like to their child. It helps ensure that children’s emotional needs are well-supported. These are at no extra cost to you.

What is not included in the Fixed Fee Divorce?

The package does not include any associated work such as financial work concerning complex assets or pensions or legal advice provided where children are involved. We may increase our charges if unforeseen extra work is needed, but we’ll always discuss this with you first.

How much?

It depends whether you are the person who wants to begin divorce proceedings (the Petitioner) or the person who has received a divorce petition (the Respondent).

Assuming there aren’t any unforeseen problems or complexities then the fee is:

Petitioner

£550 plus VAT

An additional charge of £593 for the court fee which you’ll need to pay to commence the divorce proceedings.

Respondent

£550 plus VAT

Further Information

We will discuss your divorce with you at the start of the process and discuss how matters will progress.
We will provide updates to you at key stages within the process.
We will respond to letters and emails within 3 working days of receipt and telephone messages that require a return call within one working day.
This service is for couples who have agreed to divorce. We can also assist you if you are not in agreement, please contact us to discuss further.
Payment is required at the start of the process.
