How We Work

Historically, our team dealt solely with spinal injury claims, we did nothing else. However, we have recently started to take other types of catastrophic injury cases, after being approached by clients with different injuries, who were looking for experienced solicitors.

It is all about teamwork. We understand that it’s better to work with you as early as possible after your injury, so if you wish, we would visit you whilst you are an inpatient in hospital to talk to you about your options. We have very close relationships with many of the spinal injuries centres around the UK and we work directly with medical and support staff in those centres.

We are very much part of the wider team of doctors and other health professionals who will be a constant for the rest of your life. Within Brethertons we work as a team. We deal with a relatively small number of claims each year and so the whole team will get to know you personally. Where necessary we call on colleagues in other teams who assist with aspects such as placing compensation in protective trusts to preserve entitlement to benefits, or purchasing land or property in order to meet accommodation needs.

We travel all over the UK to meet with our clients and their families and we are passionate about helping them get their lives back on track. We won’t let you down.
