A lady in her 60s involved in a serious road traffic accident when a motorcycle on which she was a pillion passenger, was in collision with a car. She suffered a complete spinal cord injury at T5/6.

A man in his 50s was riding his motorcycle when a car suddenly appeared in front of him, turning right across his path, giving him no opportunity to avoid the accident. He sustained very serious orthopaedic, spinal (C4 incomplete) and head injuries.

A young motorcyclist involved in a head-on collision with a car which was overtaking stationary traffic as result of which he sustained a complete spinal cord injury at C6, rendering him tetraplegic.

A man injured at work as a tree surgeon when he was hit on the back of his head by a falling branch. As a result he suffered incomplete tetraplegia and brain injury which included a change in his personality.
