Manpreet Shokar

Paralegal

I joined Brethertons in December 2018 as a Paralegal in the Family Department based in the Rugby office. My work involves assisting the legal advisors in areas including divorce, financial issues arising from divorce, civil partnerships dissolution and cohabitation disputes.

Prior to joining Brethertons I worked in the Family Care Department of another local firm assisting legal advisors with Public Law Children matters. I regularly attended Child Protection Conferences and attended Court behind Counsel to support vulnerable clients during some of the hardest times of their lives.

I obtained my LLB Law degree from Coventry University in 2014 and completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) in 2015 from the University of Law.

I am a fluent speaker of Punjabi and can also speak Hindi.
