My work involves assisting the legal advisors with preparation of files and helping customers during some of the hardest times of their lives.
The Family team supports customers who are experiencing divorce and separation, and also provides guidance on civil partnerships, cohabitation issues, pre-nuptial agreements, financial issues and disputes between parents in relation to the arrangements for their children. I’m really enjoying my studies and work, and am progressing to the CILEx Level 3 Certificate in Law and Practice in 2015.
Experience and Accreditations
- Currently undertaking the CILEx qualification through the Coventry University College, in the process of completing the Level 3 qualification with a view of progressing to Level 6
- Started working at Brethertons as a Legal Apprentice in Administration and progressed to a Paralegal within the Family department
