We have joined forces with the Cotswold Comedy Club to host a riotous evening of stand-up comedy in aid of our charity of the year, SpecialEffect. The event will feature a top line-up of comedians each hoping to encourage guests to dig deep for the much-loved local charity.
The Cotswold Comedy Club is well known in the local area, and further afield, for organising superb comedy nights and this event is no exception. The Club has arranged a fantastic evening featuring a cast of four popular comedians and plays host to Edinburgh Fringe favourites Patrick Monahan, Laura Lexx, Edward Aczel and Philip Cooper.
All the profits from the event will go to our charity of the year, SpecialEffect, in Oxfordshire that helps people with physical disabilities put fun and inclusion back into their lives by helping them play video games. There will be a cash bar and the profits from this, too, will go to the charity.
Shaun Jardine, Chief Executive Officer, is looking forward to the evening, “At Brethertons, we’re huge fans of the Cotswold Comedy Club. They always put on a great show. So, bring along a group of friends for a brilliant night out in an informal setting. What could be better than having a laugh and a drink to raise money for a good cause!”
The comedy night, suitable for those over 14 years old, is on Thursday 22 October at The Windmill Arts Centre, Hempton Road, Deddington OX15 0QH. Tickets are just £10 and for more about the comedians visit http://cotswoldcomedyclub.com/.
