Brethertons are pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted for four separate awards, demonstrating exceptional quality of legal advice and showcasing the talents of our employees.
We were first shortlisted in the Litigation Team of the Year category at the credit industry’s prestigious Credit Today Awards. Celebrating innovation and best practice, the Credit Today Awards celebrate success amongst credit professionals. The Litigation Team of the Year category recognises those teams which recover debts on behalf of customers, and judges entries on technical legal expertise, financial results, customer satisfaction and use of technology. Brethertons is up against stiff competition in Clarke Willmott, drydensfairfax solicitors, Flint Bishop, Optima Legal and Shoosmiths – Asset Finance. The winners will be announced in a glittering ceremony on Thursday 14 May at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.
Next up, Shaun Jardine, Chief Executive Officer at Brethertons was shortlisted for the Business Person of the Year Award at the local Cherwell Business Awards, sponsored by Ellacotts. The Cherwell Business Awards celebrate the success of businesses in North Oxfordshire. Shaun was nominated by colleagues at the firm who felt he deserved recognition for his commitment and enthusiasm for Brethertons. Shaun is up against Paul Angus of Banbury Sound and Kevin Arthur of Oxford Photovoltaics. Shaun finds out if he’s been selected as winner on Friday 15 May at a lavish ceremony within the grounds of Sibford School.
Thirdly, Brethertons has been shortlisted in the Rugby FM Pride of Rugby Awards, Business of the Year category, sponsored by the Coventry and Warwickshire Growth Hub. To win the award judges will be looking for a clear business plan and achievement of stated business objectives. The winners will be announced at the third annual Pride of Rugby Awards on Friday 15th May 2015 at Dunchurch Park Hotel.
Finally, we have very recently learned that we have made it through to the next round of the Oxfordshire Business Awards, which recognise, reward and promote the best in Oxfordshire Business. Last year, we won the Customer Care Award sponsored by Hays recruitment at the same ceremony and is looking to build on this success by entering the Innovation Award, sponsored by Oxford Brookes University. The judges are looking for evidence that an innovative product or business process has had quantifiable benefit, both actual and projected, against key performance indicators for the applicant organisation. The winner of this exciting award will be announced on Friday 19 June at the Oxford Thames Four Pillars Hotel.
Alison McCormack, Head of Client Services, explains what the achievement means to the firm: “As winners of many awards, we really understand the value of such high praise that accolades like this can bring. These three awards are highly significant in their field and geographic regions, and taking part showcases our business and offers real recognition.”
