We're delighted to announce the winner of the West Oxfordshire Business Person of the Year Award. Charlotte Pimm of Woozelbears was named as the winner at a Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony held on Friday 27 March at Heythrop Park.
Judge, Colin Witherall, Head of Commercial, commented that it was a tough choice to make,
“The calibre of entries was immensely high. It took many hours of deliberating to narrow the field down to just three finalists, from which we picked Charlotte as the eventual winner. Charlotte demonstrates the WOBA values of excellence in business and entrepreneurship. We were impressed by her determination, focus and drive as well as her ambition and plans for the future.
Woozelbears is a fantastic canine hydrotherapy and dog grooming business helmed by this savvy business person with a passion for dogs. The way Charlotte has grown the business from scratch and built a trusted brand that is now being franchised is inspirational.”
The Business Person of the Year award recognises business people who have delivered significant benefits to their organisation. Key Client Manager at Brethertons, Karina Ray said,
“The other finalists, Andrew Hammond of Oxford Products and Jon Cox of Adventure Plus are to be congratulated for their excellent award submissions and making the judges’ decision harder!”
