We are very proud that we are sponsoring the Large Business of the Year category at this year’s Rugby Business Excellence Awards.
The Rugby Business Excellence Awards celebrate the best of business in the region. Organised by the local newspaper, the Rugby Advertiser, and supported by businesses around the town, the Rugby Business Excellence Awards highlight the calibre of organisations in the area and champion success, growth, innovation and excellent customer service amongst the business community.
Awards are up for grabs for new businesses, long standing businesses and town centre outlets. Special awards for Marketing and Communications, Customer Care and Innovation and Technology recognise the huge importance of these business-critical areas. An individual award for Business Person of the Year recognises the achievements of those people who contribute to their organisation’s success. Awards are offered for businesses of all sizes, from small, medium and large, through to the Overall Business of the Year.
Karina Ray, Key Client Manager at Brethertons, explains what the judges will be looking for amongst the entries in the Brethertons Large Business of the Year category: “We’re looking forward to being dazzled by entries from some of the most prestigious organisations in the town and we’ll be keeping an eye out for some compelling submissions focusing on the calibre of work, the level of staff engagement and plans for the future. As a large business operating in the town, we really understand the challenges and opportunities faced by growing organisations.”
Brethertons’ CEO Shaun Jardine explains why business people should consider entering themselves or nominating a colleague for this award: “As winners of the Hays Customer Care Award at the Oxfordshire Business Award last year, we really understand the value of such high praise that winning awards like this can bring. The Rugby Business Excellence Awards recognise the very best companies in Rugby and the surrounding areas and taking part showcases your business to a huge network of potential new contacts – people who will be keen to do business with you as a peer reviewed and recommended organisation. The publicity you will receive will enhance the credibility of your firm and offer you real local recognition.”
The awards are open for nominations now and entries close on Friday 29 May. Finalists and winners will be announced at the Awards Dinner on Friday 17 July 2015. To make your nomination, email Gillian Politis at the Rugby Advertiser for more details!
