As CEO of this great firm, I work with my fellow Brethertonians to develop strategies to create, manage and deliver excellence in client service. We aim to achieve this through optimum team engagement, the development and growth of individuals within their particular area of law alongside a keen focus on business improvement on a daily basis throughout our operation.
I started with Brethertons in July 2009 and was appointed CEO in April 2019. It is a joy and a privilege to lead the Brethertons Executive Commitee, as one of four partners responsible for the day-to-day running of the business.
The move to a legal firm, following almost 20 years in the logistic sectors was a huge change for me and the focus of my previous roles had been in operations and general management as well as New Business Development and account management. I have a BA Degree in Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde and have completed the General Management Programme at Cranfield School of Management as well as holding a Post Graduate Award in Strategic Leadership at Warwick Business School.
Being part of Brethertons with its proud 200 year plus history comes with a real sense of responsibility.
We are, in many ways, caretaking this great firm for the future of its employees, its clients and the communities it serves. We nurture and protect it. We help it grow and we are proud of what it does to support our clients at various, and often the most testing, times in their lives.
Having the best lawyers as proud Brethertonians is simply the start. We encourage a culture where individuals trust in, and care for, their colleagues and their clients. In turn, we support and invest in the personal and professional growth of our people and the results flow naturally from there.
