This evening, the Spinal Injuries Association is hosting the Rebuilding Lives Awards to recognise and celebrate the achievements of people throughout the spinal cord injury community. This includes not only people who have suffered an injury but case managers, consultants and solicitors. These people support others and help to raise awareness for the SIA or people who support the community through a professional role.
Brethertons is proud that Jon Rees has been shortlisted for the Excellence in Legal Care Award (sponsored by Bush & Company Rehabilitation) presented to a lawyer who has gone above and beyond their job role. It recognises someone who has assisted an individual as they were rebuilding their life after spinal cord injury, or to contribute towards the aims and objectives of SIA. Jon, who leads our highly specialised Spinal Injuries team, was nominated by one of his clients. He is renowned for his sensitive, empathetic and practical approach towards his clients with complex-trauma and the nomination is a reflection of his compassionate approach. He has worked in personal injury since 1998 and has specialised in catastrophic spinal injury since 2011.
There are very few solicitors in the country who are genuinely experienced in dealing with complex spinal cord injury compensation claims. These highly specialised claims require a very broad range of skills, knowledge and an exceptional eye for detail. Jon is passionate about helping people who have suffered a spinal cord injury and recently settled and one of the highest settlements in UK legal history who has C6/7 complete tetraplegia.
The nomination is well deserved and …
Good Luck Jon!
