My work includes, but is not limited to:
- Breach of lease cases;
- Early advice to provide clarification as to responsibilities under the lease to prevent disputes arising;
- Disputed Right to Manage claims;
- Claims arising from the Building Safety Act 2022;
- Service Charge and Ground Rent disputes; and
- Disrepair cases.
I represent a variety of clients including: Freeholders; Management and RTM Companies; Managing Agents and Leaseholders. I consider myself to be a client focused, approachable, pro-active solicitor. My aim is to ensure my clients receive the best outcome as efficiently as possible, with a smile thrown in for good measure.
My cases are listed across all levels of the judicial system in England and Wales, ranging from the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) and Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) to the County Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and most recently the UK Supreme Court.
An integral part of my work includes sharing knowledge and training with the wider leasehold sector, including working closely with our Residential Conveyancing team assisting with their Leasehold files. I have also presented at a number of external events including:
- IRPM national conference – since 2021, I have co-presented the legal updates
- IRPM regional conferences 2023 – co-presenting at Southampton and presenting at Birmingham
- NOTB webinar on fire safety and service charge recovery following the BSA 2022 (2023)

Experience and Accreditations:
- Admitted as a Solicitor in 2017
- Studied Law at the University of Lincoln graduating with a LLB Honours Degree
- Obtained a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course in 2015 from DeMontfort University
- I am an advocate for increasing awareness relating to neurodiversity and inclusion. I have published an Article about working with dyslexia – outlining the positive outcomes that can stem from a neuro-divergent thought pattern and the benefit an “out-the-box” approach can have when appropriately and pragmatically considered
- Notable achievements:
- Junior Solicitor of the Year 2019/20 by Leicestershire Law Society (awarded to solicitors with less than 5 year post-qualified experience, who are outstanding in their field, have made notable contributions to the industry and legal community).
