My work primarily involves supporting and assisting lawyers with Children and Domestic Violence matters. This work is mainly under the Children Act 1989 and the Family Law Act 1996. This includes the drafting of legal aid applications, drafting court applications, statements and scott schedules, preparing cases, obtaining instructions from clients, and attending hearings at court.

My aspiration is to become a qualified solicitor. I am currently undertaking a Masters of Law – Professional Legal Practice (LLM), which will prepare me to sit the Solicitors Qualifying Exams in 2025. I am undertaking this whilst obtaining my Qualifying Work Experience within the Family Department as a Trainee Solicitor.
